Lost - The Full Season

Ma Bro n Me

ME :-)- coming from Nupur's wedding

I have lost my temper.

I have lost track of where this year started, now that it seems to be about to end.

I have lost a lot of hair.

I have lost 2 cell phones.

I have lost most of my lungs.

I have lost a lot of money.

I have lost the shine in ma hair.

I have lost interest.

I have lost love.

I have lost my toes (when I look down I can't find them).

I have lost things that I can't even remember now.

On the other hand I have gained:

about 8 kilos.
a job.
another friend.
another year.

The Joys Of Christmas

Nupur n Me:its the sangeet of her wedding happening

Yours truely

Ah, the festive season is upon us. Coloured lights and sparkling trees, enchanting children and grown ups alike. Close your eyes and you can feel the delicious anticipation wash over you, as shoppers shop and carolers fill the chilly air with song. With just days to go to Christmas, it's time for a moment of quiet reflection, to consider the most important aspects of this holiday and what makes it special:

Presents.

Specifically, presents for me. So let's get down to business. The following, in no particular order, is what I want:

1. A winning lottery ticket (hmm, maybe this list is in order after all). If I get this, every major problem that I have at the moment, from career issues to non-existent pension plans, would be sorted. Well OK, it won't actually stop my parents from pestering me to getting married and breed them a pair of mini-Nehas - but at least then I'd be able to send them on a cruise around the world. Over and over (and over) again. Come to think of it, with this ticket I can just buy the rest of this list myself.

2. A puppy. Seriously. A boxer pup would be nice, like the one in the Hutch commercials. They're cutest when they're young, so the plan is to keep it until it turns one year old, then um, get rid of it and get another one next Christmas! And if I keep giving them the same name, it would be like having a puppy that never grows up!

3. A penthouse. I've always been a citygirl at heart, but will like to have one at the outskirts of the city. People talk to being connected but I will want disconnection at least for some time.

4. A career. Please. I don't know what I want to do - or what I can do - but I need something that pays a helluva lot of money without involving a lot of work ;-)

5. A package consisting of bungee jumping, scuba diving, para gliding, skinny dipping, a trip to Milne Ice Shelf..........

6. Friends. Not that I dont have any...I have plenty, but I want those friends back in my life who once were...and those too who could have been but somehow i lost them.

7. A liposuction. Shut up.

though i m the one who do not appreciate remixes much, but somehow the remix of the soundtrack is good, if not better.

Making His-Story

England's first gay civil partnership ceremonies took place throughout the country today. A total of 687 couples got hitched, among them Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish.

As for civil partnerships... I'm still not quite sure how I feel about them. It's certainly a big step forward - gay couples now get all the legal rights and financial benefits that heterosexuals enjoy with marriage. That has to be a good thing.

Most importantly, it's recognition. Instead of 'sick' or 'unnatural' or plain 'wrong', it's acknowledging that when two men or two women choose to spend the rest of their lives together, it just might possibly be 'love'. You know, like what straight people have, only without the risk of babies.

As Justin Ryan and Colin McAllister (C-list celebrities in a relationship of two decades) put it, "A greater show of commitment is being with someone for 20 years... we don't need a ring to prove it."

Furthermore - and this is me playing devil's advocate - should the worst happen and you go your separate ways, it makes things even messier. A breakup is painful enough without the added burden of having to legally disengage yourself from your partner.

Again, maybe that's just me being a cynical bitch, eh?

Today's not the day for such talk.

Mask of Zorro - i think i liked it.
Charlie's Angels - whatever the worl said about the movie, i think it was a funny movie, the girls looked good, and did decent acting
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - do i have to write about it?? loved it...my liking for the harry potter movie series is not with much deviation though.

Neha's Moving Day

Now this posting has been pending since quite some time........
so here u go.......

Moving day’s been and gone, and despite all the planning and stressing it ended up being a pretty last-minute kind of affair - mainly because, you know, I’m a lazy git. So last-minute, in fact, that I was still looking for boxes the same day (“Stop the car! Stop the car! Two more by that pile of rubbish!”) and packing well into the late hours of the night.

One good thing about having boyfriends is that you can get them to do most of the heavy lifting when you move. As PV and I (the two delicate Oriental flowers) cleared the kitchen and tidied our respective rooms, SD and him (the two manly blokes) huffed and puffed, lugging most awkward boxes down to the car. It pays to be the pretty one in the relationship.

After about dunno how many hours of hard labour (mainly by the boys), the car was finally full. and the luggage was in the new house.

“Right,” he said. “Let’s order. I’m starving.”
“Where’s the house key?” asked PV.
“Which one?”
“The old house keys as the house has to be locked and the keys given back to the old landlord.”
“Oh, I’ve packed it.”

PV’s eyes goggled. His eyes goggled. SD's eyes goggled.

“The keys of the old house is in the new house in my purse.”

We all turned and went to the new house to get the old house keys!!

.............
...........
.........

Whatta mess, huh? It was two whole days before we could even see the floor again. Even now, we’ve got boxes lying around and piled up on chairs and tables.

and one of my cosmetics box is -sob- still missing!!!
