The End Of An Era...

So today was the last day of the college. The last class. The TQM class. And man!!! I am going to miss the college.....Time really flew..And everything has changed.
those staying up till late in the night, completing the case study or the assignment to be submitted the next day...
having very less or(as most of the times) no breakfast...
having food at the shiv sagar........
waiting for an auto and abusing every auto which turned down r request to take us to such a short distance as the next door college.......now who will make these morons understand that if don reach on time either we will be ridiculed big time by the prof or pay a fine of 50 bucks every class we bunked........
those late attendences........
taking a break of 15 min when we were told to come back in 10 min....
hogging samosas, puffs, chips, coffee from the kiosk.......
snatching the food of the poor creature who was trying to hide his tiffin from the eyes of the vultures....
sharing cigarettes...
so many crushes and proposals......
sudden ringing of cell phones in the class...........
waking up at 8 o clock to realize that we have a class at 8 30.......
late night messaging....
some fights and many misunderstandings............
struggling to pass........
tonnes of xeroxing to save the burden and cost of buying the text..........
mass bunking.........
going for movies before 1 o clock for just 50 rupees.....
freshers day.......
farewell........

But life moves and we too.

Was kind of nice. A very 'real' kind of movie. Family members always present to pester and poke their nose when we have to decide whom we wanna marry!!!!

Movie..

The last movie I saw was Batman Begins. Liked it. And Christian Bale is so hot!!!! When i started the movie, I din't quite like him. "His face is quite plain. Nothing special." I told Achint. Then as the movie progressed, and when he got shaved and dressed in all those awesome formals, man!! he was looking so FU@KABLE!!!!! He has this, phew, HOT bod!!!!

Coming back to the movie..

Even the movie was a good one. And i needed to watch a movie which is not as slow as Schindler's list!!!

The Greatest Train Robbery - it was a nice typical 70s or 80s movie...but enjoyed none the less..

Pulp Fiction - well quite strangely, i dint like the movie while I was watching it...it started off well but somewhere in the middle i got bored as i thought that it is going too slow. but now while i m recalling the movie, i m having pleasant thoughts n views about it. the acting by john trivolta and samuel jackson is fantastic though, so is the witty humour.

The PEARLVALLEY Trip.

Hey people..i know i know i know..long long time since ma last post..what to do people?last days of college life...that means, of course the having fun part is always there, but it also means that I have to finish ma assignments and above all the INTERNATIONAL PROJECT, and the all so useful DISSERTATION too. Well the best part of today is that, besides it being HOLI today which carries no meaning here at Bangalore, is that I HAVE FINISHED MY IB(international project). Aaahh!!! What a pain! But its over for the good. Have already spiral binded it and given it. And yes, think i dint tell ya all that we were supposed to WRITE it down. Can u believe it? Now who should tell that fucker(my prof.) that gone are the days when we used to write the projects. If we had to print it, it would have taken me not more than 2 hours to finish it. Damn. But its over.

Ok. Now the fun part. Well this weekend has been Hell lots of fun. Went with Achint and his office people to Fun World at Satyam's expense. Had a lot of fun..and then came home late and tired only to get up at 5 30 in the morning the next day coz me and ma gang, achint inclusive,were going to some place 40k from here. While going, the road was so bad, I started having a bum ache. But there was a 2k stretch some where between where we had the time of r life. Man these boys drive like crazy!! Are they not scared of driving so fast and that too with girls on the back seat?? And the best part..there was a turning we had to take which we missed coz all boys got their all so needed smooth road where we had, what do u call that, DRAG,among KARIZMA (driven by Jose, with simi at the back seat, PULSAR (driven by Kinger and Dileep at the back seat) and UNICORN (driven by Achint and me at the backseat).

Shawshank Redeption

This is the book i last read. Liked it. Have also seen the movie. Unlike most of the movies where it is not able to capture most of the details, obviously, this was one of the very few exceptions. The movie is quite detailed. Tim Robbins did a wonderful acting in the movie. And i guess no one would have been a better take than Morgan Freeman for the role of Red. Loved them both.

Mind ur words, sir!!

Not that I am always looking for ways to define myself different from people here(I m a North Indian yaar!Its different out there!How can you people have these dosas n Idli Vada for breakfast??)...no thats not my point but some things put me off big time!!!

May be the reason is that since the time we opened r tiny lil eyes, n ears, we have been hearing things ACCEPTABLE as the social norms....whatever....here they are..

1.Pronouncing FOOD as FUD(as FOOT!!! how insane can that be??)

2.Calling BED as cot!(when i told ma friens that i want to buy a bed, they said u already have one!what i have is a sleepwell mattress, which i keep on the floor of ma bedroom, where i sleep!!! i cant understand how the fuck can it be passed for a bed??)

3.Laughing when i tell them i am not eating because i am observing lent!! those bastards say lent means not having non veg or something u like!! idiots! what they dont know is that lent is a period of fasting, and it does not mean that after breaking the fast, which i do after sunset, i hog like a dog!)
