Climbing the stairway to hell!

The weekened started with me forcing myself to climb the stairs leading to my office at the 7th floor! Can u beat it?? 7th floor! The elevators were under repairs. For the very first time I was going to take this journey. And I din't even like the thought of it! For a moment, I felt like messaging ma boss and telling him' "Listen boss! I cant climb the godforsaken stairs!! The lift is not working. Its saturday. U anyways must be nicely cuddled up in the blanket! So continue being there! See u on monday!!"
But like a good employee, I started climbing the stairs. Never knew there are so many awesome food joints, almost at all the floors! So wat did Neha do?
Neha went to all the restaurents(spelling mistakes, if any, to be ignored!), which were closed(obviously! it was 8 45 in the morning) which looked damn neat, all of em, even checked out the price of the various dishes at the various joints, thought for not more than 5 seconds and came to a conclusion!
NICE PLACES. GOOD AMBIENCE! NICE VARIETY OF DISHES!U CAN ALWAYS, ANYTIME COME TO THESE PLACES FOR TAKING TREATS. NOT GIVING 'EM!!!
Anyways, coming back to the stairs..
I HATE CLIMBING STAIRS!
I HATE WHEN THE ELEVATORS / ESCALATORS ARE NOT WORKING
I HATE THE MAINTENANCE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO DO THE REPAIRING WORK WHEN WE NEED THE ELEVATORS THE MOST...WHY CANT THEY DO IT AT SOME HOUR WHEN PEOPLE ARE NOT IN A HURRY TO REACH OFFICE AND LOG IN!
I HATE CLIMBING STAIRS
I KNOW I AM A LAZY BUM..
I KNOW I AM PUTTING ON WEIGHT
BUT..
I HATE CLIMBING STAIRS!

If the lift is broken, call in sick.

Walking up flights of stairs is dangerously healthy.

Ohhh man....
I know how it feels to climb stairs...
same is the situation in ma company too...elevators are anyway so crowded...we guys end up walking till the 5th floor...every fucking day in the office..

but know whts our motivation??

On every floor we have identified "boosts of energy"....in not-so-technical terms...we usually land up in the cubicle of one chick on each floor...jise dekhte he saari thaaakaan dooor ho jaaati hai
so whenever we guys get tired we get "instant" energy...

Try something like this...n Im sure u'll enjoy climbing stairs from now on....

I mean instead of chicks...*ahem*

Understood na..wht Im trynna say here...I know u r smart :D

unforgiven, there are far better ways to remain healthy than to stay DANGEROUSLY HEALTHY by climbing stairs, that too office stairs..

lekin arzoon, what about ground floor to 5th floor? where there is no such energy boosts available!! its only the 6th floor, but even they seem such big dopechees!!!
:-(
but finally, the lifts are working now! thankfully!

brute, going upto 3rd floor is also not easy, that too right in the morning when u are in ur formals and just don wanna sweat it out!

I hate climbing stairs too....When we shifted to our new house two years back ( Its in on the 8'th floor), the lift was still under maintenance checks and the engineer used to shut it down at 6:00 PM when he left. So it was a mad rush and everyone tried desperately to get home before 6. A curfew couldnt have worked better

Dress codes are easy to take care of if you're a developer.

Gee, man, if I had your job, I'd, well, okay, I'd never get past the interview, showing up 15 minutes late and wearing jeans, t-shirt and sandals :)

Oh I'll agree with you! Dress codes could be 'good', but, I have never been able to comply.

Hell if a company asked me to wear formals to work, I'll have to ask for a special bonus to actually go buy formals :(
