tHE dA vINCI cODE

Finally, last evening, we were able to watch the movie! *phew* Mum, Bro myself and Achint went for the movie.
Well all the while I was sitting in the theatre, all I was doing was comparing the movie with the book...and yes the judgement was passed by me....THE MOVIE MAKERS COULD NOT GIVE JUSTICE TO THE BOOK!!
But then it always happens....a book is always more detailed and engrossing and real than a movie! The movie was good..not great!! I expected too much out of it...which were useless expectations coz too many details could not, in any case be included.
Coming to the actors....
I dint really apprecitate Tom Hanks (who is one of ma fav actors) in the role of Langdon...I was expecting some body with a velvetty face, a lil harder look, darker, more hair on his head than what Tom is left with!anyways.......
Audrey Tautou was really really good....dunno whether it is her first movie or not, but whatever, I think she was better than Tom..And yes...I LOVED her haircut!! Me going for it now!
And Ian McKellen....I was expecting someone fat!! With a big tummy!! Dunno why!!! But that was what I had in mind when I was reading the book!
Silas, was toooo gooood!!
Overall, the movie is fine.
Not great!!
Quite entertaining though!
