A good thing about Bangalore (Yes!! Yes!!)

The mosquitoes. Not that here are no mosquitoes, but the ones here put their northern cousins to shame. They are slower, dumber, weaker and less malevolent. They are yet to develop their infiltration of blankets skills. The slap-to-kill ratio (including miss-hits) is close to 99%. Another major deficiency is their total lack of the powers of reincarnation. This power is amply displayed by the Agra mosquitoes - which on being smashed against the bitten body part - crumple up into a sad ball, meditate for a while and then dis-crumple and fly off with a buzz and a twitch - leaving in their wake reddening finger marks on slapped body part, slowly growing and itching bite mark, open mouthed amazement and a belief in some God of Small Things. I know someone is going to come up and say "Things are going to get worse Sonny Girl, Just you wait". But I'd like to hold on to this 'good' feature of Agra for a while, Thank you.
